Below are the links to the various pages of the site, link access changes as you visit other pages, if you get stuck, use your back button to come back to the home page and click around again. If you wish to schedule a rebuild, or purchase one of our saxes (and it still needs to be rebuilt), send us a 50% deposit to hold your place in my work schedule. I work from a published schedule (see left margin) so that your sax will only be out of your possession a couple weeks, while i do the actual work, it does not have to just sit on the shop floor, until it's turn comes up... you send it to arrive on schedule and we return it on schedule. E-mail "the sarge" with questions about our vintage saxes at: worldwidesax@gmail.com Click the links above to see what's in stock. If a horns says "just rebuilt", then it's ready to go, saxes that say "scheduled for a rebuild" are waiting for the work to be done, but it will be included in the posted price. If a sax says "ON TRIAL" someone is taking advantage of our "Three Day Trial" policy (See Info and Orders page). Here is a pic of some custom resonator work. We can size the reso to your tonehole, or whatever you like. We can get you virtually any resonator made, my favorite is the Resotech solid silver reso. Check out our new page all about relacquers

Frequently Asked Questions:
Email me (worldwidesax@gmail.com) and ask about what interests you, then we can discuss my next schedule opening, see if it works for you and how to get me the deposit that makes the wheels roll. We want Frequently Asked Questions, below) We are always busy, doing rebuilds or restorations, so our appointments are limited and although I understand many players are unable to try a horn before buying it otherwise, we really are limited to how many visits we can schedule you. We don't charge for trial visits, so that does come right out of our pockets.
Some of the most common questions i get asked are, "How do i get to reserve a spot in your work schedule, or how long until a WWS stock horn gets rebuilt? The best plan i have been able to devise, is a "Deposit System". Work, on almost anything, gets scheduled right away when i receive a deposit for the work or sax you have interest in.
How does the 3 day trial return work? we can't just " rent" (send a horn out, with a check for surety) horns for a weekend for free ( it happens way more often than people think). So, at this time we will have a "25.00 for a handling fee" policy on any return and then the 5.00 per day for returning late, UNLESS a sale is made sometime later, for any horn.
How do I try a "WWS stock" Sax? You can make an appointment to come in and play it, but if you are out of Washington state, you must pay for the sax and shipping (your choice of shipping, as you pay for it) in advance, then we ship it to you. once you receive it you have three days to play it and decide if you love it, or want to return it. You must let me know via email or phone, by the third days end, or it is sold. if you decide to return it, it must be packaged same as it was received and shipped back on the fourth day (or sooner). As soon as it is received here, you will be refunded all but your shipping and any paypal , etc. fees, asap.
What does the "on hold" after the description mean? This designation means the sax has had a deposit paid on it and it is waiting for it's turn in my queue to be rebuilt. Likewise, "on trial" means it's been paid for and shipped... and someone is taking advantage of our three day trial period, to play, evaluate and make sure they love the horn.
Are All Your saxes completely rebuilt and ready to go? Sorry, many horns have not been rebuilt yet and will not play easily, but could be rebuilt, if scheduled for a "Trial" (see our Info and FAQ's pages). Our work schedule is in the left margin of every page. We usually have about 60 saxes in stock every day and are always restoring, or rebuilding what we have, but it's a process.
When do you start work? I publish my work schedule on the left margin of my website pages, when it's turn comes up in the queue, I start it.
How much
is shipping? Shipping varies with
distance, but generally, i can ship, via
Why do you charge Pay Pal "handling" fees? At this point, it's the best way to keep prices overall, from going up. If i just included a fee on every sax, my overall prices would be higher for everyone. sure, i could offer a cash discount, but most people pay cash, check or money order, so i do it this way.
How does the 3 day trial work? Well, it's there if you want it. For example, you live in NY city and want the sax, but need to be sure it's just what i described it to be. You pay for it, i ship it. Once you get it, you have 3 days to try it and let me know if you will keep it or send it back. If you don't contact me by closing time the third day, it's automatically sold. I don't usually give 3 day trials when saxes are purchased in the shop, UNLESS you ask for it, (for example) because you want someone else to check it our or something.
How does the 3 day trial return work? we can't just "rent" (seen a horn out with a check for surety) horns for a weekend for free (anymore, it happens way more often than people think), so, at this time we will have "25.00 for a handling fee" on any return and then the 5.00 per day for returning late.
